Three days of Bavarian fun await during the 20th Annual Beaver Creek Oktoberfest, Aug. 30-Sept. 1, 2019. New this year, families can kick-start their Oktoberfest celebration on Friday with a Biergarten featuring authentic German beer, Oktoberfest-style local craft beer, root beer, pretzel toss, authentic Bavarian food, and live music. The event hosts live musical acts throughout each day, stein-hoisting competitions, Bavarian costume contests, and a 5K, 10K and Family Fun 1K race on Sunday.

Judges had selected her recipe as one of the five finalists, requiring her to bake 1,000 cookies to prepare for the 13th Annual World’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition. On competition day, she stood at her table waiting for the sweet rush, while hundreds of people waited in line for over an hour to test-taste, and vote, for the winning recipe.

Yet, the same excitement Hall felt as a 5-year-old Roy Rogers still shines through as he puts on his chaps, red shirt with a bandana and white brim hat to embody Buffalo Bill and entertain families throughout Beaver Creek.
